Grand Mercure Business Bay

it is overall good but space and location not so user friendly. mattress are not so comfortable

It’s even more exciting than ever We was here few days ago and it’ was great staying in the Grand mercure business bay hotel

There staff was wonderful and they attended to each client the best way ever

Location was great, the canal view room were really amazing

Rooms definitely need maintenance and proper cleaning and disinfecting .. I had to change rooms, one of the was full of flies Stuff was unfriendly and unprofessional, unfortunately even the senior stuff. They are rude, irritated and frowning at you.

Clean room with nice view ...and the service is nice , but I had a room for two persons ... they had two beds ? but very close to each other , which made me uncomfortable... it should be separation between the two beds , other than that very nice place to be in ..

The staff were really nice besides the manager at my arrival day.

It was just a bad luck, the AC motor broke in the first room. The second room the WC was smelling very bad on my last day. Sewerage smell

Love the location and the view from the room. The bellman, concierge and the night manager (who adjusted our booking last minute to acommodate us were all so nice and helpful.) Ali one of the bellman remembered me from my last visit and was very welcoming and attentive as I had a lot of luggage to manage.

One of the female front desk staff wouldn’t let me store one of my bags for a half day longer even after I had stayed for over a week and this unfortunately prevented me from rebooking at Gulf Court for the second half of my trip.

The location is good and safe. Hotel is very clean and fresh, staff are friendly.

For hotel guests breakfast fee should be standard - not dependent on advance notice.Would be better if such small items as shoehorn, cloth brush and bathrobes were provided.

The property was convenient to transfer around town. The staff was attentive, kind and well informed on the area. The concierge service was so very helpful at every turn. The property was clean, smelled amazing and was nicely appointed. I discover the access to the walking path around the river on the last day. I wish it would have been highlighted in the advertisement as well. It’s a definite bonus The property appeared just as shown on the internet. No unpleasant surprises.

I had an excellent stay at Gulf Court!I arrived in Dubai for a business trip around midday and was warmly welcomed by the amazing Rhoda at the reception. She kindly arranged an early check-in for me and even upgraded me to a much more spacious room. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly made my experience outstanding. Highly recommended!

I stayed at this hotel for almost 12 days, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish.•The rooms have terrible soundproofing. I could literally hear people next door talking as if they were in my room. Rest and privacy were impossible.•Housekeeping was far from acceptable. I had to request proper bathroom cleaning every single day because the standard service just wasn’t enough.• Every morning was a nightmare. The cleaning staff start making excessive noise, speaking loudly in the hallways, they somehow they hit the vacuum on the floor while vacuuming which creates an additional noise which is extremely frustrating when you’re on a long stay.•Guest Service was the most shocking part. On my first day, I asked for a proper desk chair because the one provided was way too short compared to the desk height. They actually had suitable chairs available in the business center, and I explained my physical situation clearly, but it still took them two full days to “seek management approval.” In the end, the manager refused to provide me with the chair I needed to work properly.•One day, I needed a simple fork. I called room service, but they told me I had to pay for it since I wasn’t ordering food from their restaurant. After I got upset, their “solution” was to escalate to the manager to get approval for a plastic fork. That was the last straw.Overall, this hotel does not understand or practice basic hospitality. Guests’ comfort and needs seem to be at the very bottom of their priorities. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values service, cleanliness, or even basic respect.

The staff were welcoming and caring

The faucet in the bathroom was installed so close to the sink that it immediately caught my attention. What surprised me even more was the overall design of the bathroom. In many Islamic countries, it is common to wash the bathroom floor with a hose, allowing the water to flow directly into the drain and out to the sewer. Here, however, the floor was designed in such a way that water tended to stay on the surface rather than draining away efficiently.
